Sue’s Epic 300km Coast to Coast Challenge!

In April 2026 Sue Mackie, lead teacher at Bristol Dyslexia Centre, completed an extraordinary challenge: an epic 300 kilometre run across England. Sue ran from St Bees on the west coast of Cumbria to Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast of North Yorkshire.

This incredible journey unfolded over five consecutive days and nights lasting a total of 102 hours. Sue was on the move for 75 hours 30 mins. It is truly a remarkable test of endurance, resilience and determination.
